Very rare Christian Dior couture vintage evening lace ballgown, 1953
Christian Dior | ‘Fête au Village’ Cocktail Dress “After women, flowers are the most divine creations.” said Dior, whose love of fashion was equaled by his passion for horticultural pursuits. This cocktail dress and it’s title conjure images of a Provençal fête festooned in the forget-me-nots that provide the inspiration for the cotton embroidery.
Very rare vintage Christian Dior evening gown, made in 1953. Truly a collector’s item
The dress is made of hand-embroidered trimmed multi-lair weightless tulle.
This dress doesn’t have a tag, but the same dress is exhibited in Fashion&Lace Museum in Brussels. See pictures attached.
